As of August 27th, 2025, the previous customs threshold allowing shipments into the U.S. under $800 USD to clear without duties and taxes has been suspended. This means additional charges may apply once your item(s) clear customs.

Since our pieces are handmade in Australia, we are pleased to be able to ship duty-free under the Australia–U.S. Free Trade Agreement. However, please note that you will still be responsible for paying IEEPA tax (this rate varies depending on the country of purchase - for example, Mexico 25%, China 30%, Brazil 50%) along with a $1.31 USD customs clearance fee.

We have provided a transparent, visual guide to these charges below for your convenience.

Orders under $600 USD will be sent Delivered To Unpaid (DTU), meaning any applicable taxes and fees are payable by the recipient upon delivery.

Order over $600 USD will be sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), and Love Story Atelier will cover all associated duties, taxes, and clearance fees on your behalf.
