Please follow the instructions below to apply your iron-on wedding patch safely and securely. While the process is quite intuitive, a few simple precautions will ensure the best result and protect the delicate fabrics of your wedding dress.

What You'll Need:

- Your custom wedding dress patch
- A pressing cloth – 100% cotton or linen is best. Choose white or a light colour to prevent any dark fibres from transferring to your wedding dress. A clean pillowcase works perfectly.
- An iron (set to medium heat, no steam)

Important: Do not iron directly onto the satin surface of the patch. Always use a pressing cloth made from natural fibres. Avoid synthetic materials such as polyester or nylon, which can melt or scorch under heat.

Iron-On Patch Instructions

• Gently peel off the paper backing from your patch to reveal the adhesive layer.
  
• Place the patch in your desired spot on the inside or outside of your gown. Take a moment to align it carefully—it will be permanent once heat is applied.
• Lay your pressing cloth over the patch to protect both your patch and your dress fabric from direct heat.
• Set your iron to a medium heat setting (Silk or Cotton). Ensure steam is turned off.
• Press the iron firmly down on the cloth-covered patch for 10 seconds without moving the iron.
• Allow the patch to cool completely before checking if it has adhered fully. If necessary, repeat the process.

Tips for Best Results:

• If you're unsure about applying the patch yourself, consider asking a seamstress to assist.
  
• Test your iron on a scrap piece of fabric first to ensure the heat setting is safe.
  
• These patches are ideal for placement on lining, trains, or discreet areas of your wedding gown.
